Dr. Michael Cozart grew up in Manchester, Tennessee and pursued a diverse educational path that began with a degree in computer science at Tennessee Technological University, followed by a master’s in biotechnology at Middle Tennessee State University. He went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathy from DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee and completed his Internal Medicine residency training at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

As a physician, Dr. Cozart has always been committed to providing individualized, patient-centered care. Throughout his career in primary care and internal medicine, he found the treatment of treatment-resistant depression particularly challenging—watching patients cycle through therapies with little relief. A trusted friend who directed a ketamine clinic introduced him to the growing body of evidence showing the safety and efficacy of ketamine infusion therapy for patients who had exhausted conventional options. Seeing the transformative results in these patients inspired him to bring this evidence-based, innovative therapy to his own community.
